CITY OF HAVERHILL SAFEWATCH PROGRAM

The Haverhill Police Department is committed to the safety of all of our residents and with this in mind and knowing that some people in the community have condition(s) that may cause them to wander, be unsafe or pose a danger to themselves or others, The Police Department has developed a Safe Watch Program.

The Safe Watch Program is free, voluntary and confidential that is designed to better equip emergency personnel when responding to a crisis situation.

This program is being implemented so that if a crisis occurs, the police have information and a picture on file to respond quickly using techniques that have the highest likelihood of leading to a successful outcome.

The Haverhill Police Department encourages family members, friends or caregivers to make use of this program by contacting LT. Nicholas Brown who will be our liaison with the department. The Haverhill Police will work to identify those individuals, family members and their caretakers so that they can respond to crisis situations in a knowledgeable manner and ensure that proper steps are taken to protect the safety of the registered individual and others who may become involved.

To register for the program, you can complete the form (below) or call The Police Department at 978-373-1212 ext. 1572 or email nbrown@haverhillpolice.com to arrange an appointment or discuss the specifics of the form and/or program so that the most accurate information is available.
